When is Break Point part 2 released on Netflix?

Following the huge success of Formula 1’s Drive To Survive series, Netflix will be hoping that lightning strikes twice with its newest arrival, Break Point.

The new docuseries follows several players in the world of tennis, in both the ATP and WTA tours, and gives fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the toll it takes on those trying to become the number one ranked player in the world.

However, after introducing fans to the likes of Nick Kyrgios and Paula Badosa in some of the earlier chapters, episode 5 of Break Point ends with a teaser to ‘later this season’ which has left fans anxiously asking when part 2 will be released.

Break Point release date and preview

Break Point smashed its way onto Netflix on Friday, January 13, 2023, the Friday before this year’s Australian Open began.

From the team behind Drive To Survive, the new series follows a select group of top tennis players both on and off the court as they compete in a series of grueling tournaments all over the world.

With tennis legends such as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic reaching the twilight of their respective careers, there is a chance for a new generation of stars to step into the spotlight.

This series offers the chance for fans to get to know some of them, delving into the rollercoaster of emotions that follows them through career-threatening injuries, heartbreaking defeats, triumphant victories as well as personal moments off the court.

When is Break Point part 2 being released?

Part 2 of Break Point will be released on Netflix in June 2023.

Netflix has yet to announce a specific release date, but we at HITC believe that there are two possibilities for part 2’s arrival, either Friday, June 23 or June 30.

In the case of June 23, it is roughly the midpoint between the end of the French Open at Roland Garros and the start of Wimbledon, two of the biggest Grand Slam tournaments in tennis.

Alternatively, June 30 is the Friday before Wimbledon starts which would match up with how part 1 was released on the Friday before the Australian Open began in January.

We will be sure to keep you updated once Netflix announces an official date.
